Does anybody have the family of Leander Millwood? Did he marry Loutisha Bennett and if so, who/what Bennett family did she descend from? Were they in Forsyth Co and if so why can I not find them in the census? Any help will be appreciated.

Do you have any information on Jesse and James Millwood. I am searching for a Jesse Millwood who married a Pierce. They are parents of my William T. Millwood b1876 he married my ggreatgrandmother Mae Nelson in Richland Co.,Illinois and their was a James Milllwood who settled there in 1900 census married to a Nancy I believe Price. Any information would be greatly appreciated as this has been a major brick wall. I think they may have my Cherokee side.

Your grandfather was the brother of my great grandfather,
Thomas H Millwood. Have noticed in some of my searches
that Jessie was married to Genie Turner. Thomas was married to Mattie Turner. Were these women related? I am currently trying to search the Turner side of the family but have not been successful in finding anything on my great grandmother yet. Can you help?

Hi, I am a Millwood from Forsyth County, GA and I believe you have his name spelled wrong. Try searching for Lee Lander Millwood b 1859 and married Luetishe Bennett (spelling may be wrong on first name). Let me know if that helps

I do not have an answer for you, but maybe you can point me in the right direction.
I was born Christina Danielle Millwood, shortly after that my parents were married and my last name was changed.
I have researched back on to my great grandfather Carl Millwood. Married to Rhoda Loving Millwood.
He lived in Pacolet SC.
From here I am stuck. He died in 1983.
Do you have any information on Millwoods or where I may go next?

I have a major change in my last email as I have found several updates. It seems that this James Millwood and Nancy Price were my William T. Millwood's parents. They were from Union County South Carolina which is where many Millwoods were from and many others like mine moved to Cherokee County, Georgia. So I would suggest these two counties . They are my Cherokee connection. James Millwood father Hugh Benjamin Millwood b.1808 in Union County who married Miriam Whitlock her mother was full blooded Cherokee .
