Researching Bennett G. Holcomb (age 26) listed in 1870, Forsyth Co., census as living in Vickery's District with wife, Nancy Wilburn, (age 24), and children William, (age 9), Joshua , (age 3), and Savannah, (age 1). Nancy died before 1869. I would like to know where she was buried and what happened to William and Savannah. I am a descendat of Joshua. Bennett is buried in Harmony Baptist cemetery, Buford, GA, with later wife, Octavia. Joshua married Mary Elizabeth Shoemaker, and had these children: Annie Mae, born 1890, Gainesville, GA, Lelia Minervah, born 1893, Abbeville, SC, Mamie Lea, born 1895, Abbeville, SC, James Luther, born 1901, Buford, GA.
