Redd and Pearson

I am looking for any information on the families of Job Redd and Ephraim Pearson. They both were living in Forsythe county in 1850 with their families. They each had large families.

Sarah Redd/James Smith m.1845

I am wanting any information on James M. Smith, b. 1824, or his wife Sarah A.E Redd b.1829. They were married in Ga in 1845 and moved to Al.around 1867, then to Texas shortly after 1870.
Sarah was born in Ga. but I do not have any information about her family.
James was born in S.C.

I am the ggrand daughter of james m smith,he was born in georgia in 1857 of cherekee mother and father.They lived in alabama after he was born about 1860.He had brothers and sisters.The mother must have died,the brother and father came to Marshall county mississippi,around 1880.The brother left with a wagon train to Arkansas he fell in love with a girl and james and the father stayed in mississippi and homestead the land.The father died and Buried at Mt pleasant mississipi on a plot of land north of mt pleasant called Kings mountain , realy a hill.My grand father lived in Mt pleasant until 1923.At a later time the brother came back to mt Pleasant on his way to alabama to live .So he must have reletives there.I think we have a CONNECTION HERE ,please reply with the information you have on James m ,and Sara .I beleave he was named after his father ,James m Smith the first or secound son is almost true.

thanks for the reply... all i have is my grandmother s name was martha josephine haseltine smith.b. 1878.. in northern ga. married a bennett around 1900. one bible has JIM. O.G.SMITH as father and mother a LYNA /LINA GRANT...OTHER BIBLE HAS

as i stated in previous message ,, the other brothers bible has jim smith as father, but lina /lyna LOGAN. as mother.... time line of martha josephine smith's birth 1878.....hope we do , believe to have been part cherokee.... that is as far back as i have on this line. ...HELP PLEASE....THANKS, MARGARET

i think i have found the james m smith,i am looking for.My gggrand dad was born in georgia in 1857 he was indain or 1/2 indain.lived in alabama and moved to mississippi in the late 1870s or early 1880s please reply.apainterwb@aol.com
