Where in Forsyth Co. would be a great place to find information on these families, such as deeds, wills, marriage info, burial info. I am planning a visit to Cumming soon and would like to spend my time on finding information. Thank you for any help on these families.

One of the best sources of Forsyth Co., GA genealogy information is Pioneer History of Forsyth Co., Ga. by Don Shadburn. Chapters 11 and 12 are devoted to the Bell, in particular, and the index shows the other ancestor names you list. We found it well worth the cost.

The Forsyth Co. Public Library has several copies of the book mentioned in an earlier response if you would like to check it out before buying.

I am looking for info on Thomas Washington Bell b. 9-17-1833 in TN d.8--8-1903TX. He was married 1. Nancy Anne Shanks 2. Martha Matilda Doss Bruce. Martha's first husband was William P. Bruce. Martha was married to William P. Bruce on 2-10-1861 in Forsyth Co., Ga, she married Thomas Washington Bell abt 1874. We are not sure if they lived in Forsyth Co., Ga or not after they married, we know they later moved to Ark., and then to Texas. Would really like to have info on him. His siblings were P. Jane Bell b. 8-19-1835 d. 2-19-1900 m. 1. George Stewart 2. Theophilus Wilkerson, Minerva Bell b. unknown m. William H. Green, Calvin Lysander Bell b. 5-1851 m. Mary "Molly" McDuffy. My husband's Bell family was in McNairy County Tn..Have you checked there?Lorenzo Sikes Bell married Martha Lou Springer.The Bell were from S.C. I didn't recognize any of the names that you mentioned.But you never know. Valerie
