The only cemetery in Floyd County that I've heard referred to as the "Old Cemetery" is the old city of Rome cemetery on 7th Avenue right across the street from the library. It was used primarily from 1830s to, perhaps, 1850s or 1860s when Myrtle Hill became the city's primary cemetery. But some "family" burials might have continued there for some time.
