Just a hunch: A community called Hardins was located near the point where Old Dalton Road crosses Armuchee Creek. There was also a very large farm (plantation) situated there owned at various times by families including Jones, Troutman, and Seaborn Wright. Today the Pope's Ferry Christmas Tree Farm occupies part of the property. I suspect that would be the "Armuchee Plantation", especially given the "Hardin" name.
