In a Emanuel county reference the following Lamb's are listed...
In a petiton to Gov. Brown in 1863 a request was made to form a militia to protect the city of Swainsboro.. James Grubb was to be commander with John Lamb 55 years of age; Thomas Lamb 45 years of age; and David T. Lamb (ordained minister of the gospel, 40 years of age) listed as possible members.
There was also a listing of people applying for liquor license in 1860....John A. Lamb "at his store in the 57th district"; John A. Lamb "at the store at Johnson's Mill"
The best way to find the names you are looking for is to search the census records at the local library of historic society... CJS
