family married to edmund w. moseley 1833.

Barbara's father was probably Malcolm Monroe, born in Scotland according to census records; migrated to Robeson County, NC and apparently married a Lumbee Indian (mixed blood) before moving on to Montgomery County, GA prior to 1805. Some of his children were listed as mulatto in census records.
