I am looking for info regarding a thompson family of Emanuel. One of the daughters was a Buroed Thompson and she married a man named G. Lawson Rountree. Maybe his name was a family one, so I was wondering if you have ever seen a reference to Thompsons or Rountree in your line. The stone for G. Lawson and Buford are in the Swainsboro City cemetary but no dates are included and I have never been able to get anyone in the county records to tell me if there is a record of burials for the cemetery.
