My GG Grandfather was named James "Bones" Henry Weldy and was born 6/6/1876 in Dodge Co., GA. d. 8/1940 in Dodge Co., GA. m. 8/30/1891 to Lillie Luella Thomas b.10/1881 d.1937. His father was J.W. Weldy who was born 8/1/1841 in Perry Co., Mississippi. d.10/1914. J.W. enlisted in the Tennessee army in 1861 and served under Bragg and Johnson. J.W. married an I.J. Miller 12/13/1894 in Dodge Co., GA. (I believe this to be his second wife) Does anyone have any information on this individual or any other Weldy's in either area? If so please let me know. I would love to exchange information and would be very greatful for any help provided.
