Searching for info regarding my gg-grandparents, Wells Whitmore and Mary Eliza Hoy, who were living in DeKalb County or Cobb County when their two little daughters were born. Elizabeth was born in 1859 and Lottie was born in 1862

Mary Eliza, a widow, had a young son when she married Wells. From what I have been able to find, this child was given the name Charles Bowen Walkley and may have died in DeKalb County and is perhaps buried in a cemetery within the county. All traces of Mary Eliza seem to have disappeared before 1865, when she left Wells with the two little girls to raise. Any help is greatly appreciated. Joan
