William Horton Perry was born 6 Aug 1797 in SC maybe a son of Cecilia Horton and Phillip Perry. He Married Artimissa Green 15 May 1815 in SC Died May 10, 1871 in Dawson (Terrell Co) or Dawson County GA.

In 1840 he was in Rhodes, Lumpkin Co., Ga.
In 1850 was in Columbus, Muscogee Co. Georgia
In 1860 and 1870 he was in Dawsonville, Dawson Co. GA.
