I have been trying to get information for a long time on my gggrandfather and his wife. His name was Hugh Bell b.Oct. 5, 1790 and Rebecca (possibly Viggra) b. Mar. 1, 1796 in GA.

Both died in 1876 in Calhoun Co., GA are buried in the Bell Cemetery there.

I ran across a site which said Hugh Bell was the s/o John Bell I and was possibly born in Columbia Co, GA. I have found them listed in the 1830, 1840, 1850, 1860 and 1870 census in Early and Calhoun Counties. I have been unable to find anything before then. When I ran a web search on the name Viggra I got no matches. The closest I came to a match with the Viggra name was in the list of German immigrants to GA.
