Ethel was the daughter of Charles Newton Mell and Laura Keeton. She married George Taylor Christian and had a son, George Taylor Christian, Jr. Ethel died in Marietta, Georgia in 1974.

I am looking for a photograph to include in a biographical sketch of her I am doing for my DAR chapter. She was a charter member of the Mary Blount Chapter in Maryville, Tennessee in 1922. If anyone has any information or photos to share, please let me know.
