Does anyone know who this road is named after? My 4th g. grandfather, Joseph HUNNICUTT settled in Cobb Co in abt 1836, from North Carolina. He is in the 1840 Cobb Co. census. His son, Calvin Welborn Hunnicutt, b. 1827, NC, became a prominent businessman in Atlanta, Ga., both before the war and after, at Bellingrath & Hunnicutt. Anything about Joseph would be wonderful as I only have Calvin's descendants down to myself. Joseph supposedly died after the 1840 census, some say 20 Oct 1844. He was probably buried on the farm because I haven't been able to find him in any of the cemeteries. He is not in Oakland Cemetery, Atlanta where Calvin's family is buried. Thanks for any help.
