Barbara: thanks very much for that information. I have been in Atlanta for a few days and while there, made a phone call to the Ga. STATE Library. They were kind enough to input on computer and came up with; 25 miles sw of Atlanta-off US 41, between Jonesboro and Lovejoy, Ga.
I will have to wait for cold weather to trek the Ga. woods/roads. Thank you for the website.
Kindly, Joyce

Hi Joyce,
I know where the cemetery is, I have relatives buried there. It is off 19-41 near Lovejoy. My grandmother used to live in Bumblehook. The cemetery is right beside the road. No need to tramp through the woods. (literally feet from the road) It is very small, and I think, unmarked by a sign. There are several graves, all marked. Who are you looking for?
email me and I'll tell you exactly where it is.
Good luck!

Surnames: Callaham, Crozier, Pair, Wooten/Wootan, Trammell, Wells,
Amy, I saw your post and have a question. Was Bumblehook ever a large farm or plantation? I have family from that area and one was listed as overseer for the Bumblehook/brook Plantation. Wade H Trammell. Lots of family in that area: Callaham, Crozier, Pair, Wooten/Wootan, Trammell, Wells, the list seems endless. Most of the Trammells from the Wade Trammell group were buried, reputedly, in the Mt Zion Baptist Cemetery but I'm not having much luck in finding a list. Any suggestions?

I have a list of the Trammells buried in Mt. Zion Baptist
Church Cemetery. Did you ever get this information? If not, e-mail me and I will send you the list.

Sorry I did not answer sooner. I did not get an email about this reply, just stumbled on it. I don't know if Bumblehook was a plantation. My grandmother is 98, so I will ask her and her sister if they know. They used to live there. Which Mt. Zion Cemetery are you looking for? Is it in Jonesboro? I'll look around and see if I can find an internet list. Surely there is one somewhere.
