John Pitman and Charlotte "Lotty" (nee Barnett) had a daughter, Martha A., who was born about 1837 and appears with her parents and siblings in the 1850 Cherokee County, Georgia census. I believe Martha is the one who married George W. Hensley ca 1858 probably in Cherokee County, Georgia, but have been unable to find their marriage record.
