I am searching for Simpson A. P. Rutledge. Simpson was listed in the household of James A. Rutledge in the 1860 census. Simpson was 80 years old and a farmer. He was not in the household before or after the 1860 census. In the 1900 census records for Chattooga Co. other members of the household were living in the Holland area. The members of the household were all married in Chattooga county. I have attached some of the marriage records. Where did he come from ? What relationship was he to James. I can't find him in other census living alone or with family.
