During a recent trip to Savannah I obtained old hand-written notes that indicated Edward McIntyre married Jose Sommor on Dec 13, 1866. I have not been able to locate any online reference to this marriage.

Edward was the son of Hannah McIntyre. He has a brother named James P. McIntyre, and a half-brother named Francis Henry Budd Thomson from Hannah's first marriage to Wesley Budd.

Edward is found in the 1860 census for Chatham County, and was a member of the Oglethorpe Light Infantry. He later worked for the Central Rail Road of Georgia as a clerk and comptroller.

Any information on the marriage, ancestors or descendants of Edward McIntyre would be appreciated.
