Surnames: Morris, Cochran, Beavers
Looking for info on Richard Morris. First name may be Cicero. Married Mary C Cochran, dau of Littleton H Cochran, son of Cheadle Cochran and Sarah J Beavers, dau of Joseph Beavers. Richard (Dick) married Mary abt Oct, 1871. They are found on the 1880 Campbell Co census. We have not found parents or siblings of Richard. Maybe an alien? They moved to OK early 1890 where he was killed in 1898. He is my ggrandfather. Any help or directions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Betty
I am not so sure i can help you on Your Morris. I have a Henry Morris , first spouse to my gg-grandmother Mary Elizabeth Hendrix. I do not know his birth or where they married . But they had two children Henry Mahala, female and Josie Morris, born abt 1884 and 85. So possibly they married abt 1883? Mary then married my gg-grandfather William Jasper Nottingham. They died in Cherokee co. Ok.
We were told Mary was born in Mo. but raised in Texas?...
I have been in contact with a Descendent of the child Henry
Mahala . I can see if i can find any more clues of this Henry Morris's whereabout...
I am also interested in your Cochran's I am looking for a William Anderson Cochran/Cockrum. There is a William A Cochran in cambell county 1840. Do you know if he belongs to your line of Cochran's?
thanks for any help. sincerly
Ronda

Rhonda, sorry, I don't see any William A.'s in th stuff that I have. Will keep an eye out for you tho. Do you show any Morris' with a given name that could be abbreviated or shortened to Perf. In the 1900 census of Red River Co, TX, it shows that he was in a boarding house rooming with my grandfather. We have no idea who he could be. Any help would be appreciated.
