I have ancestor's names from the late 1500's having lived in St.Agustine in Florida. One even held political post: Bartolome del Junco y Miranda named "veedor de San Agustin de la Florida". I'm interested in the general story of the people that came in the l500's (thru the 1600's)...ie.where they came from? why they came here? etc.
Any general information would be most appreciated.
