Floyd H Jackson b 03 Dec 1846 Montgomery Co., AL (now Bullock) d 02 Feb 1891 Chipley, Washington, FL m 1871 AL to Permelia Janey Turnipseed. They had at least eight children in AL. Floyd was son of Martin G Jackson b 1815 GA. Martin's oldest son William "Willie" was almost certainly my grandfather William Martin "Will" Jackson's father, but Willie died before Will was born in Bullock Co., AL. One way to confirm this relationship would be through genetic testing a male Jackson descended from Floyd. There is a group of 13 of us who match who are working on origins in NC in the 1700s.

My grandmothers father was Thomas George Jackson, son of Floyd Jackson.

I know of several male decedents from the the Thomas George lineage.

Do you have more information on the family of Floyd, his parents, siblings? It has been hard for me to find anything on them.

Thanks.
jeff
