Good; at least the possibility of
Polly being a grandaughter is there. That's encouraging to me. And Sarah's connection to Roxian is very helpful too; I hadn't deduced that.
My thought is that maybe Tecia (listed w/ Sarah in the 1860 census) was an orphan that Sarah took in and that this Tecia gave birth to the child,
Polly - listed in the 1880 as Sarah and Henry's daughter.
The fact that Nancy Catherine
Hall was
Creek suggests the family would have been sympathetic to indian orphans.
But, I cannot find another reference to Tecia (or
Tish) in any census until 1900 when she appears w/
Polly and two of Polly's sons - W.W (
Bud)
Walker and W.E. (William Ernest) - in the
Boggy Pct.
Thanks Muchly. Judy
