Looking for any informationon the George Lane family of Deland. Mr. Lane was born ca. 1883 in England and was married to a Dora L., also born in England around 1889.

They lived in Canada around 1919 and moved to Florida around 1921-1925.

Mr. Lane was employed as a carpenter. They had the following children:

Aubrey, b. ca. 1919--England
John K., b. ca. 1921--Canada
Margaret, b. ca. 1925--Florida

John K. Lane was a Tech Sergeant with the Army Air Corps in WW-II and was taken prisoner after his aircraft was shot down over France on 4 July 1943. He is said to have returned to Deland and was employed by the U.S. Post Office.
