I am responding to a message I saw on roortweb.com. I have a great - grandmother from Florida possibly Union countywhose name was Ressie (she was black). I have no idea what her maiden name was I just know that she married a white and Indian man named Charlie Linkin the early 1900's. This is the first time I have ever seen the name Ressie. Do you think this may be the same person?
