If someone has a book of Taylor County Cemeteries, could you possibly do a lookup for me?

I am searching for any Hardees who are buried at Pisgah Cemetery in Perry. I found a note in another source that placed Thomas Hardee's burial there. He married Gracy Jones in Georgia.

Thanks in advance for your help.
Jennifer Dennison
Tennessee

Hi Jessie, Thanks for the information. I have, now, a copy of the Marriage License of James Hill and Vick Prevatt,
12 July 1911. Taylor Co. No other identifying information.(age or such) This may be my grandmother Frances Victoria PREVATT since the date is 1911. She was listed in the 1910 Salem FL Census as a widow living with her father, James Cannon, including the four minor children (my father, Willie Prevatt). It listed a brother and sister(Donie Cannon Murphy) IF YOU HAVE death records or any other information that might relate to her, I would appreciate your help. My father spoke of a step-father, but no name. She may have died in childbirth... but I am not sure and I am still looking. Please e-mail me: WLLPTHOM@AOL.COM

Hi Danielle, I have been out of contact with genealogy for some time. Reading your message about the Cannon family is interesting. My grandmother: Frances Victoria CANNON Prevatt was living in Salem, FL Census Records with her father,James Cannon, a brother and sister. She was a widow and her four sons (my father, Willie Prevatt)was included in the census record. I have since gotten a copy of a marriage of James Hill and Vick PREVATT on 12 July 1911.Taylor Co. This date would be in agreement with the Census records. However, the marriage record does not give any other information. I know that my father spoke of having a step father, but we don't have the name. Her sister: Doney (Donie) married a Murphy. IF YOU HAVE ANY INFORMATION ON THIS RELATIVE, PLEASE CONTACT MY E-MAIL;
WLLPTHOM@AOL.COM

I have to add that these families get confused often.

Peter McLeod married Nancy J Hill.
they had three children, Edward Harney, India C, and Peter T.
She might have remarried after this, but three children came from this marraige. They were married in 1876 and the last record of them together is the 1880 census in Manatee County.

I didn't know he was buried in Chiefland. Thanks!

William Bartley Osteen, Sr. had two sons named William. The older William was William Riley and the younger was William Bartley, Jr. I don't know why they named them this way. Usually the older would be the "Jr.".

There was a rumor that the last two children of Rebecca were not the children of Wm. B. Sr. as he was already dead. I have no proof of that.

Jr. and his wife are burried in the Shiloh Cemetery according to my mother, their granddaughter. There are no longer any markers for them as they were probably made of wood at the time and have since deteriorated.

Thanks,
Tom Waters

I am looking for my grandfather's father. His name was Samuel Dewey Taylor born in October 1989. His father might have been George and his mother might have been Mary. His siblings names included Jessie, Ruth, Oscar, Lewis, Bill and Glen. He lived many years in Illinois around Chicago and had four children by his first wife. Two were named Arville Lee and Cleo. His wife left him and he moved to Washington Co. Tennessee. His brother Glen married Mary Virginia Willis Tadlock. Samuel Dewey married her daughter Wanda Tadlock, my grandmother. Any assistance you could give would be greatly appreciated!

I believe Eva Mae Dykes to be my grandmother. She was my mother's biological mother. I have some scant (oral family history)information on her and would love for you to contact me. Was she a relative of yours? The dates you have are similar to the dates we have. We have no pictures or anything of Eva's except her death certificate. I traced her burial plot back in 2000 to a north FL city, i'll have to locate that information. When my mother passed in 2001 I gave up looking for information on Eva. However, I recently found a grave site with her name on it, dates don't match exactly. Please check this out: http://www.worldvitalrecords.com/zsearch.aspx?ix=findagrave&...

and please reply. are we perhaps related through Eva?

Connie

I am looking for the parents of Eliza. I have Masons parents as Daniel and Nancy Howell they were living next door to Mason and Eliza on the 1870 Taylor County, Florida census. I have looked high and low for anything on Eliza but no luck. I can find only 1 Barington listed on the 1960 census maybe it was spelled wrong but at the moment I am at a loss on anything but the above spelling. I am also trying to help another Howell cousin he is the direct line down from Mason and Eliza. Any help would be appreciated. They were suppose to have been married 31 of Jan 1867 in Taylor Florida. Mason later married Martha C Ezell and had several children with her. Eliza is said to have passed in 1874 but this is only from others files not shure where they got the info. It is said he married Martha C Ezell Dec.8.1880 any help. Thanks in Advance
Lillie

Bonnie Taylor had a brother (not uncle) Robert (not Frank) who lived in Pasadena and one of his daughters is Marilyn the dancer. Bonnie had other siblings and another niece named Phylis. She played the violin. The Canadian Indian tribe might be Cree, not Kree. Hope this helps. Thanks!

The Tadeau/Taylor I'm looking for would have been born in the late 1800s as his daughter, Bonnie Taylor was born Apr 23, 1907 in Illinois. The story told is that Bonnie's mother, Sarah Churchill was from England and migrated to Canada where she met her husband who was a Tadeau (Taylor). She had an all girl band in the 1930s. I hate to be insensitive but the oral family history is that Sarah Churchill went "nuts" and was put into an institution and her daughter was put into a foster home. Sarah finished her life in an institution.

I do not know the first name of Bonnie's father but his last name was Tadeau/Taylor. I know he played the violin very well and he had a brother whose name may have been Frank. Frank had two daughters. One daughter's name was Marilyn and she was a dancer in the traveling show "My Fair
Lady". They may have had a brother as well.

Ring any bells?

I'm researching Bonnie Churchill Taylor. Her father came from Canada and his name was Tadeau, French for Taylor. He was an Indian, maybe "Kree". He was either full or part Indian, he played the violin well. This Taylor had a brother named Frank? Tadeau who had two daughters. One daughter's name was Marilyn and she was a dancer in the traveling show "My Fair Lady". They may have had a brother as well. Any clues would be helpful. Thanks!

Does anyone have a Gladys Parker in your family tree? I have a Lancia/Lancy Wynn born abt 1905 in Perry FL that I THINK might be Gladys Parker. Gladys and Juanita came to my uncle, Theo Bramlett Rose's funeral in 1958 and both were listed as aunts. Juanita Wynn Mosley IS MY AUNT. The parents would be William & Mahala Wynn of Perry FL. The only other female sibling of William & Mahala was my grandmother, Ella Bertie Wynn Rose, who died in 1914 so these two would be the only siblings left who could of attended my uncles funeral. gosborne@stny.rr.com
