I found a book in the Hamilton County Library of the early History of the county. It references the Hall Clan that settled along the river in Hamilton County and they called it "Halls Landing". Thomas Hall came to Fl. (originally) from Ga and SC and he and his three boys farmed cotton. The boys were Nehemiah, John and Gabriel. John Hall was my great great Grandfather. He appears to be your John W. Hall's uncle. The book states then Nehemiah and Gabriel moved to the Palatka Florida area. I also found a mental hospital committment order for one of the many John Hall's of Hamilton County. MY John Hall is the father of Philipp Deslinksy "Link" Hall and Perry Hall. Link is my Great Grandfather. I hope this helps you.
