The Tampa Tribune stated that "the Lithia woman was born in St. Augustine August 4, 1825..." This Lithia woman was Martha Weeks. I do not know her maiden name (neither did the Tampa Tribune), but I think it might have been Gomez. (maybe Francis Marion Gomez and wife Sarah/Sara) The census tells that Martha's father was born in Spain. Martha died May 1, 1940 in Hillsborough County. Can anyone help with when and where in St. Augustine Martha was born?
