I'm currently trying to research my Grandmother's side of the family and I've ran into a snag. I'm looking for information on my great-great grandfather (Mano) and his wife (Avery). The only information I have is on his side of the family. But, I don't know anything about her or their marriage or children, other than my great grandmother. Does anyone have any information on this family

Do you have any dates of birth or death for your grandparents? When did they live in Seminole County Florida? Did you find them in any census records?

Yes. Mano was born approx. 1866-1869 in Wayne Co. GA and died in 1929 in Columbia Co. FL.. Avery was born in 1846 in GA and died in 1921 in Seminole Co. FL. I believe they were living in Seminole Co. in the early 1900's, but I do not have any proof to verify that. The only child I am aware of is my great-grandmother Clarkey. However, I do not know if that's her real name. In my family, everyone is known by their nickname. I do not have access to any census records.

Have you looked at the Rootsweb "Family Trees" for Mano
Raulerson and tried to contact any of the people who have him in their tree? There are 6 that come up in a search. It may be the same Mano or a different one, but it does not hurt to try to contact the people who posted the trees because they are apparantly looking for Raulerson's also.

It was difficult for me to read the census image.
I think it said that
his race was Mu
he was born in Florida and both parents born in Florida.
his wife was Elizabeth and she was 74, race W, born in Georgia and both parents born in Georgia.
his daughter was Onic (really no idea on this spelling, if someone else has access to the census and can look it up for you, that would be great) 23 years old, race Mu, single, Born in FL and both parents born in FL
a granddaughter named Jamie or Jessie age 4, race Mu, born in FL and both parents born in FL
a grandson named Bossie (again not able to read clearly the spelling) race Mu, age 2, born in FL and both parents born in FL.
I also saw a listing for a Mano Raulerson in the 1900 cenus, but was unable to look at it. I will try again later, or maybe someone else can find it for you.
