I have many Kierce relatives from Alabama (Coffee, Mitchell, Covington, Concecuh, Escambia Counties). Your Kierce friends are related to my Kierce's in Florida.

I show that Ellen Kierce Langford is the daughter of James Brunson Kierce Sr. I do not have her mother's name. Her husband's name was James Allen Langford. James Brunson Kierce's parents were William Walton Kierce and Ellen Brunson Kierce. William Walton Kierce was the son of Joseph T. Kierce and Mary Patience Arnold. Our common ancestor would be Wilson J. Kierce (my ggg-grandfather) Joseph's father. Joseph's great-grandson, Steiner Charles (Chuck) Kierce lives here in Texas. His wife is Estella Reyna Kierce. I have his email address if you are interested. His father Steiner Kierce Sr. did quite a lot of research on the Kierce family back in the 1970's. We were able to trace them back to the 1700's.

I show that her brother James "Jim" Brunson Kierce Jr. died on July 9 2000 in Bessemer, Alabama. She also had a brother named Will but I have no information on him.

Somebody sent me some information on the Dixon family from Santa Rosa County, Florida. I will get it out tonight and see if I can find anything that may be of help to you.
