JOHN WALDUM , JR.
John Waldum , Jr., born in Sioux City, Iowa on July 5, 1924 left this earth to walk with God on November 26, 2000. In spite of the polio that crippled his body at 16 months, he lived a full and active life. Some of his accomplishments were flying planes, dispatcher for the police force, hospital volunteer, literacy tutor, and chairman of the Right To Work Committee. After 30 years as a machinist at Pratt Whitney Aircraft, Mr. Waldum retired with his loving wife, Dorothy of 49 1/2 years.
Mr. Waldum leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Dorothy; son, Ron; daughter, Pat; brother, Orville; sister, Dorothy; mother, Bertha; four grandchildren, Clark, Tonya, Gina, and Connor; great grandchild, Brittany.
