Dear Sandi:
Oh yes please, but please be sure that you make them understand that we mean them no harm, we want nothing but to get to know each other as we only wish to find our "real" family members. We feel that they should have known about each other all along but sometimes things don't work out that way in this world.
Lemmie Lee Moore who would have been their older 1/2 brother had blue eyes and blond curly hair for years. It got a bit darker later on and then of course turned grey.
He was slim and tall also.
We have a ton of photos of him we could share with his 1/2 siblings if they would like.
We do have two siblings that we can put them in touch with.
One my husband Tony and the other his 1/2 sister Tina.
Tina plans to be in Florida again in Oct. about the middle of the month. We are trying to make arrangements to get to Lone Hammock to take some photos of the Island before the Government changes it to much.
I know that both Tina and Tony would like to meet any of them that are interested. We don't wish to take anything away from them, we just want to learn about the man who would have been called Grandpa! And about the four that you named who would be Aunts and Uncles to us. We can find no shame in anything that was done. What was done is done it is now time to heal and rebuild.
Clarence Prescott in Sebring told me we would have loved Lemuel Prescott, that all who knew him did.
My husband would have been able to get to meet him but Tina was born to late, he was gone by then. And again we just learned of him about 2 years ago and have had a time trying to learn anything at all about him.
Again we just seek to meet and get to know family.
So yes please tell them and let me know what they say. We will understand either way.
Gail
