There is a small community on the EGLIN AFB reservation called the old CARR community. I am told the old school house foundation can be seen and there is a small burial area. Best I can remember, it is off the new 77th special forces Road. Eglin bought out the community in the 1940's. I believe the Carr family then moved to Crestview area. The family has had reunions on the old property around the turn of this century.
