Thomas King was son of John King RS.Camden Co. Ga.
Maria Woodland was daughter of James and Elizabeth Woodland of St. Marys Ga. Maria was born on Marianna Plantation at St. Marys April 23, 1789. She died Sept. 30, 1860 at Kings Ferry, Florida. The King family owned and operated the Ferry that traveled from Florida to Ga. via the St. Marys River.
There son Edwin R. King, married Mary AJ Stafford in 1859. Mary Stafford was the daughter of Joshua and Elizabeth Branning Stafford of Florida. Joshua and Elizabeth were married in Duval County, Florida in 1828. Joshua Stafford, stated in a land record, he had been a citizen of East Florida since 1817, but was born in Georgia
