Seeking proof of my mother's & aunt's birth, in Bristol, Liberty Co,FL. The Guy H. BROWN family, wife Lula Avis Jones, both originally of Henry/Houston Co.AL area(Gordon/Dothan). Their two dtrs. were supposedly born in Bristol, Liberty Co. on a tobacco farm the family owned or rented. Virginia Ansley BROWN,b-23 Aug.1907,Bristol?; and Kathleen Muirel/Merle BROWN,b-29 March 1909, ". My mother is still alive and sharp as a tack at 92 yrs. Need names of Methodist churches in the area at that time to check recs. for christ/bapt. of both girls. Searched the 1910 fed census, but no info found. We know they were there, as one of the older family members committed suicide by hanging himself in the barn, ca.1911-2-3. Only known as Uncle Bryant/Bryan ??He was a blind relative who lived with the Brown fam. Unfortunately have no last name to check but could be Brown, Williams, Jones, Reid or ??? Are the 1910 census indexes available?? Any suggestions where to look for birth/bapt proof? Or the death of Uncle Bryant ? Thank you. Will share info/data on the above surnames freely.
