I am so sorry to hear about your experience. No one should do that to another person. There was a lot of poverty in this county as was in most southern counties. Seems like people feel they have risen about their beginnings...or are ashamed for some reason. I don't want to judge them just trace my family line. I would be interested in knowing who your Renew family might be. I have found nothing out in Liberty Co about mine. I know who my grandmother was but that is it. She was Willie Mae Renew Lowe.
