Seeking information on my Davis-Jones relatives my maternal grandmother was born Grace Mae Davis in Lee
County in 1907 and raised by her maternal grandfather William H. Jones born in Georgia according to the 1920 census After his death she was then raised by an uncle W. D. and Maedelle Jones they lived in Green Cove Springs, Florida Looking for her birth parents information. She also had siblings named Leila age 9 Everett age 7 and Elma age 3+ Any help would be greatly appreciated.

According to the 1910 U.S. Federal census for Lee Co, Fl., the parents of Grace May Davis were Thomas (age 25 ) and May (age 22 ) Davis, married 5 years. Also in the household was baby Lela Adaline Davis, age 5 months. They lived in the area known as New Prospect, which is now part of N. Fort Myers. They were living next door to William H. and son, William D. Jones.

On the 1900 Federal census for Lee County, there is a Tom J. Davis, age 14, birthdate 1886 with his widowed mother, Merintha Davis, age 40, also Charles Davis, age 20, Ines Davis, age 15 and Mary E. Davis, age 10.
