and it is free.
They also have pictures on some of the cemeteries.

The name of the cemetery is "Alderman-Pelote" cemetery.
It was started 1851 and has 477 graves. There are lots
of Bryants, Aldermans, but no Bravo's listed.

Hillsborough County, Florida.
I could not find a Bravo buried there. It was started
in 1851 and has 677 graves.

Kersheske, this is the spelling my father-in-law used, and Kierszeaski, this was the spelling his father used.

re your search for hunter cemetary is located in keysville fl. on hwy 640. it is directly behind the keysville assembly of god church. you will have to enter it throlugh the church yard. i have a sister, brother, two sisters - in- law, one brother- in -law and an infant aunt buried in this cemetary . i dont know of anyone being buried there under the name you are trying to locte. it might be worth a try since i dont know everyone that is buried in the
cemetary . it is a small cemetary.

The death certificate should indicate if there was an autopsy. Usually this is a check box. Because her body was transported back to New York from Florida, there is a very good chance that she is buried with another family member - most likely a spouse, child, or parent. Good luck!

1. Horizon Information Portal: (TRAILS Database) Index to Tampa Tribune Obituaries and some other information. The actual obits are on microfilm at the Main Library.

Paul Augustus Cooke, died 1952, and his wife Kathryn, died 1985, were editors and publishers of the Plant City Courier. Their daughter Paula posted a genealogy inquiry in 2004 for Otsego County, NY. BEECHER , Ray F., 71, of Tampa, passed away February 17, 2005. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lona Beecher . Ray was retired and was a member of the First Pentecostal Tabernacle in Tampa. He is survived by his two sons, Steve and Scott Beecher ; three daughters, Scheryl Frazier, Susan Chapman and Sandra Stanley; five grandchildren, April Frazier, Nick Chapman, Sara Chapman, Jordan Beecher and Lauren Beecher ; and two sisters, Marie Cooper and Linda Dixon. A graveside funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Friday, February 25, at Hillsboro Memorial Gardens, 2323 W. Brandon Blvd. in Brandon. We all love you and will miss you very much.

I couldn't find any of these folks in my cemetery databases but here an obit for Peter along with the date of obits in the Tampa Tribune for the Holcombs.

ECKHOLM , PETER WILLARD, 77, of Tampa, died Thursday (May 21, 1987) at his residence. Born in Michigan, he had lived in Tampa the past two years and was a retired truck driver. He was a member of the Teamsters Union and the National Rifle Association. Survivors include his wife, Doris Pauline; a son, Charles E., Detroit; a daughter, Ella Susan Booth, Huntington, Ind.; a brother, Milne E. Eckholm , Tucson, Ariz.; a sister, Una Babe Methner, Honor, Mich.; seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. A.P. Boza Funeral Home, Tampa.

Was an autopsy performed? If so, you might want to check with the Hillsborough County mortuary. You might also try to contact the Duval Funeral home if it is in existence. Most of the time, these burial transit permits followed the body - that is, the Thomas Bible Funeral Home would have had a copy. These type of records aren't as "vital" as death certificates and may no longer exist. Have you checked for an obituary published in the Bronx that may list the burial location? Have you checked with family members? If Augusta had a spouse or adult children, have you checked to see if she's interred in the same cemetery as them? Good luck, J. Johnson

I've come across some photos taken there. It seems that the pictures were taken during the early 1900's.

Interestingly, all the photos have the same 2 props; A white wicker chair with sort of a fan back and a white furry rug.

I don't think there was an autopsy, she was 96. Her husband was cremated, and not sure where his remains are. I'll check into the grave locations of her grown children and for an obituary in the Bronx...

I'm trying to find the burial location of my ancestor, Augusta Meissner. The death cert states she was removed from Duval Funeral Home in Tampa, to Thomas Bible FH in the Bronx, NY. Thomas Bible FH is in the box for cemetery and there is no cemetery located there. I've attempted to contact them for the info but to no avail. Would the Burial Transit Permit contain the cemetery info, and how do I find that? She died in 1966.

I am looking for obituaries for:
Blanch HOLCOMB d. 23 May 1975. This one is a problem because she actually died in MI but, is listed as buried in "Tampa, FL". I don't know the name of the cemetery but surmise that her husband, IRA, is also buried there and the reason for the transport. Thought there may be a notice in the paper or would like the name of the cemetery.

Also looking for obituary and cemetery for Peter ECKHOLM d. 21 May 1987. Have Funeral Card from A. P. Boza Funeral Home of Tampa but only gives b. and d. dates.

Any help appreciated.

your BEST bet is requesting a death certificate, $5.00 and a couple of weeks will most likely get you what you want
