I am looking for information regarding my husband's grandfather. Recently, we were told that he was killed in 1936 in front of his family. We were also told that after his death a trial was held, but no other details were given to us.

I would APPRECIATE ANY ASSISTANCE in finding out more about his death. I am not familiar with researching in Gulf County, Florida... so I don't know the procedure in finding records or old newspaper articles there.
