I am seeking to find the grave of a distant relative. He died in 1940. His family received a telegram informing them that the Lather Union had paid for his burial expense. The sole living survivor from that time is elderly and believes that it said he had been buried in the "Lather" cemetery.

Lather is a laborer job description. e.g. carpenter etc...
