I found your inquiry interesting as I am searching for my family that came from the Escambia area. Especially since you mentioned names that I am researching. My grandmother was Lanty Roberts who married a Jeff Thompson. I remember as a young child meeting a relative that was named S.P. Morris but I don't know what the connection to the family was. My grandmother
Lanty Roberts born fl as age 12. Her death certificate information given by her daughter lists her birth date as 20 Feb 1871.

Jesse Guy Thompson (son)born Fl 4 Aug 1900, my father, who according to his death certificate was born at Carrabelle Fl.
Cleave/Cleavy Thompson no further information except he never married and is buried somewhere in Duval county as I remember him as a young child
Annie Lou Thompson born Fl 15 Nov 1893 no further information except she never married and is buried known location in Duval county also remembered.

The only name you mentioned that was familiar was Green ROBERTS, but I'll have to look through my notes to find out where and why that name is familiar.

I have not yet found a connection between my g-gf Ivy MORRIS and the ROBERTS family near him in 1860 in Pensacola, but I did find some new information on the family of ***Charles M. ROBERTS and wife ***Elizabeth MORRIS ROBERTS.
