I am new to researching ancestry and thought someone here local to me could lend a helping hand. Not asking anyone to do all the work but was hoping someone could give me a direction to take with software, websites (pay or free) and maybe a general guide for finding good results. So far all I have gotten is search results requiring to pay, or endless (well, about 40000) results to go through and its wearing me out.

If you have hit a wall on your ancestry and want a new one to start on the furthest I recall my dad's side is his grandfather who was Horace Taylor born in Lawtey, Florida back around 1932-42 and died 9/2004
