Surnames: William Brantley Moseley, Jr. d. 1873
I have my Moseley ancestors back to the Essex County , Virginia Moseleys. They moved from there in the 1600s thru NC, SC, GA and some moved to Clay County around 1850. I am now almost blind. If you are researching this line of MOSELEYS, I will be happy to share what I have as long as I can see how. William Brantley Moseley,Jr. died in Middleburg, Clay, FL in 1873.

Hi Linda,
I may have some information for you reguarding the Moseley/Williamson's you are looking for.
I was just at a little family cemetery in Middleburg yesterday searching for my Williamson family.
This cemetery is on the private property of my daughter's friend, it is very overgrown and some of the headstones are very hard to read (due to age and moss)but I did manage to write down a few names and dates.
Please get back to me, maybe you have some stuff on the Williamson's and we could be of help to one another.
Regards, Sue Williamson

Hi Sue,

I transcribe and photograph cemeteries here in Clay County, I'd be interested in the small family cemetery that you are refering to, if it has not already been done.

Susan

Hi Susan,
Sorry to have taken so long to answer but this is my first chance to get online.
You said you would be interested in photographing the little family plot, well first I must tell you that this plot is on private property owned by a friend of my son-in-law, I feel sure that he wouldnt mind at all if we took you out there, the only other thing is this plot is quite burried in the underbrush and has not been looked after at all and not at all picturesque. Some of the stones have actually fallen over.
Anyway get back to me and we can go from there, I am hoping to get some Clay County history on this family if I can as I am looking for links to my own Williamson family.
Thanks and Regards, Sue
