Carrie, Which one of the boys, your great-grandfather, was the son of Philip A. & Clarissa Bragg Crosby. My grandmother was the 6th child of the 16, Gertrude Crosby Waters. If you attend our reunions in Lake Butler, you probably know me by sight. I'm the one with short hair and I stick my fist in the air and yell "Here" when they call for Aunt Gert's descendants. Unfortunatly, I am the only one that attends from this branch. Marilyn & I have been doing genealogy for years. I believe you and I have met. If you want to, write me at barb-hah-rah@webtv.net.

That was my posting mentioning Moore, born in Tampa. The reason I made the posting is that is all the information I currently have on that part of the family. You might suggest to your friend that she post a query on the Hillsboro Co. forum and see if she can find information. Good luck.

Sorry not to have gotten back to you before now but was without electricity for 6 days and then recovering from Frances when Ivan scared us followed by Jeanne tearing up the area, again. I am forwarding your request for information to one of my cousins in Savannah. At the moment I am still having trouble with my computer and my paper file is buried. Have you had a chance to go to the Statesboro Library? It has a wonderful genealogy library in it with tons of information, even more than the Screven County Library at Sylvania. We've had 4 or 5 Bragg renions at Statesboro, actually at Brooklet. Billy can tell you more when he contacts you.
