I read about the message that you posted to the Latiker/Cauthen families in South Carolina and Mississippi. My great grandfather is Thomas Latiker (deceased), son on Major Latiker in Madison County, Mississippi. The reason I am responding is because I have been a resident of Canton, MS for the past 18 years of my life. My branch of the Latiker family lives in Leake County in the Thomastown area.
