Thanks so much for the info. I had not seen this record. It is definitely old George, even references his death in 1840. I have quite a bit on his RW service, including where his widow, Millie Brown, applied for his pension after his death. Evidently, he moved (or moved back) to Georgia after the RW. The family then moved to Alabama and he died in Georgia in 1840. Wish I knew the whole story.
