Sarah, wife of Henry Y Conaway, died before 1877 because Henry married second Eliza Jane Spanish on 10 Nov 1877. Their DE marr lic says she was a Conaway, but that is in error. On 27 Apr 1892 Eliza gave birth to Harold Yates Conaway and the birth cert confirms that she was Eliza Jane Spanish. Harold married Florence Fowler 17 Feb 1916. He died Feb 1968. Henry Y Conaway died 9 Nov 1896, per DE death cert. It says he was a widow, but I cannot yet find a date of death for Eliza Jane.I do not know who Henry's father was, but I do now that Eliza Jane's sister, Mariah Catherine Spanish, married James Benjamin Conaway on 26 Dec 1871. And their brother William P Spanish married Ann Rita Conaway on 27 Nov 1870. William, Mariah and Eliza were children of John Spanish and Sarah E Richardson. Glad to share this Spanish line.
