hello fellow researchers!

i'm researching part of my family line and have hit the ancestral wall with Silas Morris, who was likely born somewhere around the turn of the nineteenth century. i cannot find anything out about him at all prior to a mind-century census that places him in seaford, delaware with his wife and children. his wife was named Mary, and i believe her maiden name was Dickerson, and one of their sons was Elisha. i've searched and stretched, and am stuck. does anyone know anything about this line of the Morris family, or have any ideas about where else i can look? rootsweb isn't being as helpful as i had hoped.
