There are four Elzeys. 1)Son of Philip:Dob 1740- dod:10 Feb 1821
2) son of Tilghman, grandson of Elzey 1:DOb:13 Nov 1795-DOD 8 Sept 1864
3) son of John (brother of Elzey 1), grandson of Phillip: Dob 1755-DOD unknown but died in Onslow County, NC
4)son of William Spicer, grandson of Phillip: dob-abt 1766-dod04 Oct 1849 (lived in Bridgeville), wife Lucy Littleton. All of these Elzeys died in Sussex co except 3.

Phillip Spicer, son of John, lived with John Elzey in MD after his father's death and that is the origin of the first name, Elzey.

Be carefull with Spicers in MD. There appears to be three lines (DNA does not match)

I wouldn't mind sharing what I can on your McCauley or Fleetwood info.

How would you like to do this? I would love to review what you have and I would be glad to give you what I have so far. I'm still fixing the duplicates in my tree and have to delete them out and get it flowing right, so right now, if you look at the tree start with Jacqueline Marie Fleetwood (me) and that path is all correct.

Catherine Ella Fleetwood born October 1857 married 24 September 1882 in Sussex Co., DE to William J. McGee whose parents were Levin McGee and Mary Elizabeth Pride. I have never known who Catherine's parents were. Please let me hear from you if you have any hints. Thank You, Dale Jones
