I am searching for the parents and siblings of Brinkley JOHNSON, born abt 1790 in Sussex County DE. There were three contemporary Brinkley JOHNSON's in Sussex County. All three fought in the War of 1812. By the 1830 census, my ancestor was in IL and the only Brinkley left in Sussex census was the one living in Indian River Hundred. I
believe the father of this Brinkley JOHNSON was William. My ancestor came either from Nanticoke or Northwest Fork Hundred. The group of JOHNSON's who bought land in Randolph County, IL included William, Bartholomew, Brinkley,
